Current Media
Current Media is a digital media company that focuses on creating content for millennial audiences. They produce and distribute videos, articles, and social media content across various platforms. Founded in 2005 by Al Gore and Joel Hyatt, Current Media originally launched as a cable and satellite television network with a focus on user-generated content. As the media landscape shifted towards digital platforms, Current Media adapted by expanding their online presence and producing original digital content. In 2012, Current Media was acquired by Al Jazeera and rebranded as Al Jazeera America.
