About Mukzin
Mukzin brand, which means “Secrete fan,” was founded by Kate Han and her husband George Feng in Hangzhou, China, in 2014. Kate felt the need to rebrand the traditional fashion style and integrate it into a modern style after seeing many young people abandoning traditional Chinese wear for western clothes. Mukzin claims to have fashion collections that reflect the Chinese traditional culture through Chinese prints and details. Mukzin also claims to design its fashion pieces with Xinjiang Hami embroidery that is popular in the Hami area, a famous town with eastern and western culture fusion. The Mukzin brand claims to bring the neo-orientalist aesthetic language to the fore, where its designers won the Asian Fashion Federation Pioneer Designer Award in 2017.
