Dish Network
Dish Network Corporation is an American television provider based in Englewood, Colorado. It operates through two primary segments: Pay-TV and Wireless. It offers satellite television services, including a selection of local and national channels for consumers, and it's also involved in the direct broadcast satellite industry. The company was founded in 1980 by Charlie Ergen, Candy Ergen, and Jim DeFranco as EchoStar, a distributor of satellite television equipment. In 1996, EchoStar launched its first satellite and began its Dish Network service, which has grown to serve millions of subscribers across the United States. Dish Network has expanded its offerings over the years to include Internet services and, more recently, has ventured into the wireless sector with the acquisition of Boost Mobile and entry into the 5G network space.
