CSquared
CSquared is a provider of wholesale open-access fiber optic network infrastructure. The company enables internet service providers (ISPs) and mobile network operators (MNOs) to offer high-speed broadband to consumers and businesses in Africa. Founded in 2013 by Google, CSquared initially aimed to improve internet access in Uganda by building metropolitan fiber optic networks. Over time, it has expanded its footprint to include several other countries, contributing significantly to bridging the digital divide on the African continent. CSquared operates with the mission of increasing internet penetration and fostering economic growth through better connectivity.
